On patterns…
As a programmer, I am a big proponent of Patterns. In Computer Science, Design Patterns are basically reusable solutions to common problems that crop up when you are in a project’s design phase. Patterns represent the wisdom and collective knowledge of programmers that stand the test of time. They save time and effort, in that they avoid re-inventing the wheel, and they help to produce stable, reusable code.
I was happy to see that someone has cleverly applied patterns to productivity. Check out this site, I haven’t gone through all of them yet, but I like the patterns I have read so far, and I wanted to share this site. (Make sure you follow the links to each pattern at the top of the page).
